The sleepy town of Flinders on the Victorian Peninsula is the setting for this unique holiday residence. The building is designed to conform to the circumference of the sites dominant Cypress Pine trees, which are a feature of the Flinders township and coastline. A series of interlocking pavilions clustered around a central courtyard and lap pool provide living and entertaining areas which blur the distinction between indoor and outdoor space. The clusters are unified under a dramatic skillion roof form consisting of a circular void which is penetrated by a silver gum, weaving the natural landscape into the architectural fabric.
